Have fun and let loose, but you don’t have to fall out of shape doing it. At TradeWinds Island Resorts, keeping fit on your vacation is easier – and more fun – than you’d ever imagine. Sticking to your fitness goals and feeling great is as simple as visiting the fitness center at Island Grand or Sandpiper or catching one of our exercise classes.

Fitness Centers

Conveniently located in both of our resorts, our fully equipped fitness centers feature treadmills with personal tv screens and ipod adaptors, elliptical cross trainers, recumbent and upright bikes, cable crossover machines, dumbbell rack and more. Our entire selection of fitness machinery is from the new Life Fitness Signature Series and includes pieces such as: smith machine, abdominal machines press, pulldown, row/rear delt, shoulder press, tricep press and many more. Fitness centers are for guests aged 18 and over, or 16 and 17 when accompanied by an adult, and the access charge is included in the resort amenity fee.

Fitness Classes

Serenity plus aerobics equals Yogafit.  Your mind will enjoy the harmony while your body gets toned and fit.  Certified personal training is available by appointment, and the recreation staff can arrange special fitness classes for small groups.
